週六參加登山隊前往Idaho Springs攀登位在Mestaa'Ėhehe Pass旁的Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain群峰，Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain原名Squaw Mountain，原名被認為是一種對美洲原住民女性帶有種族歧視、貶義和冒犯性的詞語，而於2021年底更名以科羅拉多州歷史上一位傑出的原住民女性的名字命名為Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain，Mestaa'Ėhehe發音為(mess-taw-'HAY)。

登山口：CO-103公路里程19.9哩處，海拔10,564呎/3,220公尺，座標39° 41' 00.5" -105° 30' 59.8"
登山里程：上下山合計4.66哩/7.5公里
總爬升高度：1,125呎/343公尺
登山時間：往返費時4小時

行車資訊：
從Denver沿I-70州際公路西行，抵Exit 252時下交流道再沿CO-74 (Evergreen Parkway)南行，約3.4哩後右轉Co Rd 66行1.8哩後續沿CO-103西行，沿著CO-103 (Mestaa'Ėhehe Pass Road)西行約10.3哩停車於路左石子路岔路口空地，座標39° 41' 01.0" -105° 31' 00.0"，海拔10,558呎/3,218公尺，此處約在CO-103里程19.9 miles處；石子岔路為Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain Lookout Trail (Forest Service 192.1)，該石子路尚可行車0.7哩至管制柵門前，管制柵門前另有停車場，但領隊認為今天登山里程不長，所以決定由下登山口起登。

步程簡述：
08:24 登山口出發；

沿Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain Lookout Trail (Forest Service 192.1)石子路上行；

該石子路四傳車可一路直達山頂，但約0.7哩後的鞍部上去不遠即有柵門擋路，一般車輛不准通行；一般小車可開到鞍部停車，我們選擇走路上山。
08:37 抵達一處岔路口，距登山口約0.4哩；左下岔路是 Forest Service 252.1D石子路，右上是Old Mestaa'Ėhehe Pass Road，取直沿Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain Road(Forest Service 192.1)續行；接近鞍部時槍聲不斷，別怕，這區域是合法的射擊區域，登山口有一個“Shooting Regulations”的告示牌。
08:45 抵達稜線鞍部，一般車輛可開到此停車，距登山口約0.68哩；

路右(南)有幾位槍手在此練習射擊；

取左彎沿石子路續上行，石子路旁有多處空地可停車。
08:50 抵達柵門管制處，距登山口約0.8哩；非公務或租瞭望台住宿之旅客車輛無法進入；

繞過柵門續行，此後約有一哩半的步道是幾處的“之”字彎道，步道坡度不大，行來輕鬆。

09:34 岔路，左直行往山頂稜線西北邊第一座通訊發射塔，取右彎往森林防火瞭望台(Fire lookout tower)。
Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain山頂是一條西北-東南走向長達0.3哩的稜線山脊，在這山脊上有三個獨立的山頭，在最東南邊最高的的山頭上有一座建於1940年的石砌二層建築森林防火瞭望台，另外兩個較低的山頭沒有建築物，但小心攀爬仍可攀登到最高點；在這山脊上也建有幾處通訊發射塔，遠處望來有點像是高雄中寮山的縮小版。
09:37 抵瞭望台下方，立有一座“Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain Lookout”的木製標示牌，此為行車終點，由標示牌左側沿石階路上山。

當我們將登到瞭望台時有兩位男子在瞭望台上告訴我們，他們已租下了該瞭望台，瞬間我們隨即知道狀況，說聲抱歉後隨即下山；該瞭望台可出租住宿，內部廚房、客廳、臥室一應俱全，還有供電，唯一不便是無水，租住此處須自備飲用、盥洗水，當有人租下該瞭望台後一般登山客為尊重個人隱私都不會登上該瞭望台。
09:43 下抵“Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain Lookout”的木製標示牌後決定先上第二個山頭Middle summit (Point 11,500 ft./3,505 m)，該山頭位在第一個山頭的西北邊直線距離150公尺處，中間隔著一個鞍部，鞍部上有一棟不小的建物及兩三根大通訊發射塔；

十年前我是由山頭的東南邊攀岩上去，最近左關節有點退化不能用力，為安全起見捨去該路線跟隨山友阿才的攀登路線，繞到山頭的西北稜攀登，該路線安全多了。

09:56 登上Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain的第二個山頭~ Middle summit (Point 11,500 ft./3,505 m)，海拔11,500 呎/3,505 公尺，整個山頭是一座岩石山頭，腹地不大，還好我們全隊也僅十人容下我們綽綽有餘。

此山頭沒有通訊高塔的阻隔能清楚看到北方的Indian Peaks和落磯山脈幾座高山。
東南近看Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain最高山頭及上頭的瞭望台~ Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain Lookout，在瞭望台右後方遠處積雪山頭是前年才去攀登的科羅拉多州的一座14ers~Pikes Peak (4,302 m)。

在山下一野餐桌休息吃東西時適巧遇到剛才在瞭望台那兩位男子，他們告訴我們他們要下山了，我們可以上瞭望台了，我們隨即收拾好物品前往第一個山頭的瞭望台。

山頭上建有一座森林防火瞭望台~ Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain Lookout，瞭望台一樓唯一的門及室外上二樓的樓梯皆上鎖，無法參觀；

瞭望台的東南邊有一座室外廁所；

十年前登此山時南邊尚有一座野餐桌，現在已崩落不見蹤跡。
Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain山頂有360度的極佳展望，東邊俯瞰東部大平原(Eastern Plains)；
南邊最遠可遠眺海拔14,115呎/4,302公尺的Pikes Peak；
西邊則有Mount Blue Sky和James Peak Wilderness的幾座高山；

在瞭望台外休息、瀏覽風景後下山。
10:47 下抵“Mestaa'Ėhehe Mountain Lookout”的木製標示牌後沿著Fire Tower Trail往最西北的第三個高點山頭朝西北行。

10:56 抵達第三個高點山頭西邊的山腳下，座標39° 40' 54.5" -105° 29' 51.8"，海拔11,424呎/3,482公尺，該處又有一棟建物及一座通訊發射塔；

由第三個高點山頭的西北稜往山頭爬升。
11:00 登上West summit (Point 11,483 ft./3,500 m)，這是最矮的一座山頭，在山頭一塊岩石上嵌著一枚Benchmark，座標39° 40' 53.4" -105° 29' 49.6"，海拔11,483呎/3,500公尺。

此山頭成一西北~東南走向的狹長瘦稜，無法容納太多人同時登頂，山頂也是有著無敵的展望，所見山頭及方向和middle summit所見大致雷同；

拍照賞景後沿著山頭瘦稜朝東南前進；

行約近百公尺抵第二、第三山頭間鞍部再下切到鞍部。
11:29 下抵第二、第三山頭間鞍部，座標39° 40' 52.8" -105° 29' 46.6"，海拔11,460呎/3,493公尺；此鞍部有幾棟建物及較為複雜的發射塔，稍微估狗一下這處是屬於丹佛KBDI-TV電視台的主發射台。

穿過發射台回到Fire Tower Trail再接上山時道路下山。
12:24 返抵停車處，整裝後開車循原路返家，結束今天的登山活動。
